Thoroughbreds keep rolling in the awards

Saratoga Springs, N.Y. – Skidmore College field hockey players Christine Kemp and Elise Britt were selected as ECAC Division III Mid-Atlantic Region All-Stars.
 
Kemp (Putnam Valley, N.Y.) was selected to the First Team selection while Britt (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.)  earned Second Team honors for the Thoroughbreds.
 
As a junior, Kemp has already been named a NFHCA First Team All-American selection, Liberty League Player of the Year, North Atlantic Regional Player of the Year, First Team All-Region selection and was a unanimous All-Liberty League First Team selection. She led Skidmore in points (55) and assists (17) and ranked second on the team with 19 goals. She averaged 0.81 assists per games, raking her second amongst Division III players.
 
During her senior campaign, Britt was named NFHCA Second Team All-American selection, Liberty League Tournament MVP, First Team All-North Atlantic Region selection, Liberty League First Team selection and was a NFHCA Senior All-Star. Britt led the Thoroughbreds and the Liberty League in goals with 22 and scored all of the team's goals in their 3-2 overtime victory over Hamilton in the Liberty League Championship. She ranked 10th in Division III with 1.16 goals per game.
 
Skidmore finished the season with a 17-4 record, winning their second consecutive Liberty League title and reached the NCAA quarterfinals for the fifth time in school history.
