CLAREMONT, Calif.—The Skidmore College doubles team of
Steven Koulouris and
JT Wynne fell in the NCAA Division III Doubles first round late Thursday night at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center on the campus of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
The duo lost to Patrick McAuley and William Reifeis of Wabash 6-4, 7-6 (5). After dropping the first set, Koulouris and Wynne took a 4-1 lead in the second set, but the Wabash pair won the next four games on the way to the straight set win.
The tournament concludes an outstanding collegiate career for Koulouris who was the 2017-18 Liberty League Player of the Year and a doubles All-American with Wynne. Wynne returns in the fall for his junior season.
