Box Score FT. MYERS, Fla.—Freshman Jay Gamboa threw seven strong innings to lead the Skidmore College baseball team to a 2-1 win over the University of Wisconsin-Stout Tuesday.
 
The Thoroughbreds are 3-2 and play a spilt doubleheader on March 16 against Edgewood and Gallaudet.
 
Gamboa didn't allow an earned run with six strikeouts and one walk. Jack Walter had a two inning save. Patrick Geiger had three hits.
