SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College baseball team closes out the Liberty League schedule with a home and home Liberty League series against Bard. The Thoroughbreds host the Raptors (9-23, 4-12 Liberty) on Saturday at 12 p.m. and travel to Bard on Sunday 12 p.m.
 
Skidmore (10-22, 5-15) finishes the season at NYU on May 7 and 8. 
 
Josh Brown tops the team with a .364 average. He has a team-high 13 doubles, four home runs and 33 RBI. Steven Gilbert (.357) and Shankar Mani (.356) are also hitting the ball well for the Thoroughbreds.
 
Andrew Aikins is 3-3 on the mound with a 5.00 era in six starts. Reliever Ben Murphy is 1-0 with a 2.91 era in 11 appearances.
 
David Schlosser leads Bard with a .350 average. Adam Carafotes is hitting .342 with five home runs.
 
John Wendt is 2-0 on the mound with a 1.14 era in four starts. Releiver Alex Bunnell is 3-1 with two saves and a microscopic 0.79 era.
