SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College men's and women's basketball teams enter a split Liberty League weekend against RIT and Union. The Thoroughbreds host RIT on Friday at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. and head to Schenectady on Saturday for games at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

The women enter the weekend at 6-4 overall and 1-1 in league play.
Kelly Donnelly leads the team in scoring and rebounding with 14.4 points and 9.5 rebounds per game.
Amber Holgate (9.0 points) and
Veronica Moceri (8.4) provide additional offensive for the Thoroughbreds.
Haley English is contributing 4.6 points and a team-high 3.4 assists per game.

RIT (7-2) will be opening Liberty play this weekend, while Union (7-2, 2-0) is the early league leader entering Friday's game with Rensselaer.

The men are 6-4 and 1-1 after an opening league weekend split.
Erik Sanders (17.8 ppg, 6.8 rpg) and
Edvinas Rupkus (16.8 ppg, 5.2 rpg) lead the Thoroughbreds in scoring and rebounding. Day-to-day with an injury is 2015 Liberty League Player of the Year
Aldin Medunjanin (11.8 ppg, 3.0 apg).

The RIT (4-5, 0-0) game will be a rematch of last year's Liberty League semifinal, won 72-51, by the Thoroughbreds. Skidmore beat the Tigers three times last season. Union is 3-6 and 1-1 in league play.
