VideoLas Vegas, Nev. – The Skidmore College men's basketball team returns to the court with four games in seven days, starting with the D3hoops.com Classic Dec. 28-30 at the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

The Thoroughbreds bring a 5-1 record and five-game win streak into the tournament. Skidmore will face Ramapo College (6-4) in the first game on Dec. 28 at 9 p.m. EST and then play Wisconsin-Stout (3-5) on Dec. 30 at 3 p.m.

The team will fly back to open defense of its Liberty League title with home games Jan. 2 against Bard and Jan. 3 against Hobart. Both games tip at 4 p.m.

Skidmore is averaging a lofty 81.2 points per game. Three players are scoring in double figures, led by senior
Erik Sanders at 16.8 points per game. Sanders is also pulling down a team-high 8.2 rebounds. Freshman
Edvinas Rupkus is emerged as one of the best rookies in the region with 15.2 points and 5.3 points per game.

Expected back in the line-up is 2015 Liberty League Player of the Year
Aldin Medunjanin. Medunjanin, who missed a pair of games with an injury, is scoring 14.0 points per game to go along with 3.5 assists and 4.0 rebounds.
