"I'm really proud of how we competed today. It was going to take 40 minutes of Skidmore Basketball and that is what we did. To come on the road against a well coached, great program and get a win is a testament to what this group is capable of.
"Personally this has been arguably the toughest 24 hours of my life. The world lost a great man when Jack Sandler died of a sudden heart attack Thursday night. Jack was a great lacrosse coach but also had become one of my best friends. I will miss him terribly. My team picked me up and I thank them for that. As a Coach when your group has the ability to do something like that it makes you so proud of the culture that has been created. "
Skidmore returns home for a 7 p.m. Monday non-league contest with SUNY Plattsburgh.
