AudioSARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College women's soccer team goes on the road to take on a pair of nationally-ranked opponents this weekend, facing No. 15 RIT and No. 6 William Smith.
 
The Thoroughbreds recorded their second consecutive Liberty League shutout in a 1-0 win against Clarkson on Saturday. Junior midfielder 
Emily Saliterman potted her third game-winning goal of the season and junior goalkeeper 
Deirdre Walsh made three saves for her third shutout of the season.
 
Saliterman, who is tied for the league-high in game-winning goals, has scored more goals over the last two seasons (10) than the rest of the team combined (8).
 
SCOUTING RIT
RIT shutout No. 21 St. Lawrence, 1-0, in its conference opener on Friday, recording its seventh shutout of the season. Freshman defender Riley Yankowich scored the game's lone goal.
 
The 15th ranked Tigers, who are 5-1 at home this season, have outscored their opponents 24-2. They leading the Liberty League with a 0.22 goals against average, ranking eighth in Division III.
 
Senior forward Quincey Ornellas leads the team with five goals and 11 points. Junior forward Anka Parzych leads the squad with three game-winning goals and is second with four goals and nine points.  Kelly Rogers and Sienna Fisher have split time in goal, combining for a .933 save percentage.

SCOUTING WILLIAM SMITH
Sixth-ranked William Smith improved to 5-1-1 with a 1-0 win against Union on Saturday, posting its fourth straight shutout.
 
The Herons have controlled the second half this season, outscoring their opponents 7-0. William Smith has been far from dominant on the score sheet, with its five wins have come by a total of six goals.
 
Junior Kara Shue leads the team with two goals, three assists and seven points. Goalkeeper Kaileen Murray has started six of seven games, posting a league-best 0.16 goals against average while ranking second with a .944 save percentage.
