Ben Murphy earned his first win of the season, while classmate
Kenny Ajello picked up his second in an 8-3, 13-3 sweep of Cazenovia College at Castle Diamond on Sunday.
The Thoroughbreds are 5-9, while the Wildcats fall to 2-13.
In the first game, Ajello improved to 2-0, going four innings, allowing one unearned run on two hits, with two walks and seven strikeouts.
Erik Watkins was 3-4 with a double and two RBI.
Matt Barra went 2-4 and
Marco Baratta was 3-2 with an RBI double.
In game two, Murphy didn't allow a hit over the first five innings, before an inning opening double in the sixth. For the game, he allowed two runs on one hit, with three walks and three strikeouts. Skidmore scored 13 runs on 11 hits.
Nick Barra was 2-3 with a pair of doubles.
Chris Lorenz went 2-3 with an RBI and two runs, and
Dan Johnstone was 2-3 with a double and two RBI. Steve Gilbert had an RBI double.
Skidmore is at RBI on April 8 for a pair of Liberty League games, starting at 2 p.m.
