Box Score FORT MYERS, FLA. – Skidmore managed only one run on nine hits and stranded nine runners in a 6-1 loss to Cornell College, Tuesday in Florida.
 
The Thoroughbreds are 2-4 to start the season, while Cornell evens its record at 3-3.  Skidmore will take on Swarthmore College on March 13 and Fredonia on March 14 to wrap its spring trip.
 
Matt and Nick Barra had two hits each for the Thoroughbreds. Mat Marino had the team's lone RBI with a single in the ninth.
 
Ben Murphy took the loss, allowing three runs on six hits over 5.2 innings.
