SCOUTING THE THOROUGHBREDS (3-3): Skidmore snapped a three-game losing streak with a 78-68 win over Westfield State on Sunday…Five Thoroughbreds scored in double figures in the win…Senior forward Connor Merrill led all scorers with 19 points, adding eight rebounds….Junior guard Aldin Medunjanin had 15 points, seven rebounds, five assists and six steals.
 
STATISTICS: Medunjanin, who was named the Liberty League Performer of the Week last week, is averaging 20.5 points, 4.5 assists and 4.5 steals over his last two games…He leads the league in steals per game (2.9) and sits second in assists per game (4.7) and third in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.4)…Merrill is second in the league in scoring (17.1 ppg), second in blocked shots per game (1.7), fifth in field goal percentage (48.5) and ninth in rebounds per game (7.1)...Junior forward Erik Sanders is third on the team in scoring (14.5 ppg)…Skidmore is averaging 73.4 points per game, placing them third in the conference.

SCOUTING THE PANTHERS (6-0): Middlebury improved to 6-0 with wins over RPI and St. Joseph's (VT) last week…Junior forward Connor Huff had a season-high 16 points against St. Joseph's…Senior forward Dylan Sinnickson recorded his fifth double-double of the season with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
 
STATISTICS: Sinnickson is second in the league in rebounds per game (12.3) and third in scoring (19.5 ppg)… Senior forward Hunter Merryman is averaging 17.2 points per game and is shooting 56.2% from beyond the arc, placing him second in the conference…Sophomore guard Matt St. Amour is third on the team in scoring, averaging 12.0 points per game…The Panthers lead the NESCAC in assists per game (19.5), defensive rebounds per game (35.3) and rebounds per game (48.7) and rank second scoring average (86.3) and steals per game (8.6)…Middlebury has stifled its opponents on defense, holding the competition to 34.1% from the field and 22.2% from 3-point range…
