SCOUTING THE THOROUGHBREDS (1-0):  Skidmore opened its season with an 82-74 win over Ithaca…Junior guard Aldin Medunjanin recorded a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds to go along with six assists…Junior guard Erik Sanders had 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting and six rebounds…Senior forward Perun Kovacevic added 13 points and six boards…The Thoroughbreds went 25-of-63 (39.7%) from the field.

SCOUTING THE SPARTANS (0-0): Castleton went 19-9 season last season, advancing to the NAC semifinals…The team returns three starters including the team's leading scorer and first team all-conference selection, Chad Copeland, and second team selection Cornelius Green…Copeland averaged 16.3 points per game and a team-high 6.9 rebounds per game last year…Green was third on the team in scoring (13.1 ppg) and second in rebounding (6.7).
