Skidmore loses battle of nationally ranked teams

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.— The 27th ranked Skidmore College men's tennis team lost 6-3 to #9 Middlebury College, Tuesday at Wenger Courts.
 
The Thoroughbreds are 9-7 and close out the regular season this weekend with the Liberty League championships at Vassar College.
 
Jonah Epstein won at number five single, beating Alex Parower 6-2, 7-6 at number five singles. The Thoroughbreds also won at number two and three doubles.
 
Jimmy Sherpa went three sets at number one singles against Alex Johnston before losing 6-2, 2-6, 6-2.  Three of Skidmore's singles losses were in three sets.
