SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - The No. 22 ranked Skidmore men's tennis team continued its winning ways after defeating visiting NYU Saturday, 6-3.

The Thoroughbreds move to 3-0 on the season while the Bobcats drop to 1-2 overall. 
Skidmore posted a 3-0 sweep in doubles competition as Oliver Loutsenko and Danny Knight defeated Harveer Bhalla and Aaron Meltzer 8-4. Jimmy Sherpa and Gabe Steerman dispatched of Steven Wu and CJ Leong 8-6, while the Kit Green-Sanderson and Nick Tong played to an 8-4 win over Bowen Xu and Alex Jacobs.

Loutsenko and Sherpa also won their singles matches clinching the victory for Skidmore in the process. In the first singles match, Loutsenko defeated Bhalla in two sets (6-2, 6-2), while in the second match Sherpa beat Wu in three sets (2-6, 6-3, 6-1).

Skidmore heads to the west coast to take on California Lutheran University on March 12 at 2:00 p.m.
