Box Score Schenectady, N.Y.— Freshman guard
Aldin Medunjanin scored a game-high 24 points to lead the Skidmore College men's basketball team to an impressive 76-66 road win over Union College.
The Thoroughbreds end a 10-game Dutchmen win streak to even their Liberty League record at 2-2 and overall mark of 8-5. Union is 3-1 and 11-2.
Medunjanin was 5-9 from the floor and a perfect 11-11 from the line. He also had five assists, seven rebounds, a block, and a steal. He has made 18 straight free throws over the past three games.
Tanner Brooks chipped in 15 points and five assists, while
Kevin Dahill was also in double figures with 12 points.
Eli Johnston added nine points and six rebounds.
Skidmore didn't miss much, hitting 22 of 24 free throws (91.7%) and 23 of 45 field goal attempts (51.1%).
The Thoroughbreds led by five at the half, 41-36 and then used a 14-1 run to open the second stanza, leading 55-37 with 13:10 to play. Union would get no closer than eight the rest of the way.
Skidmore will host RIT on Saturday at 4 p.m.
