Bennington, Vt.-- A seven-run sixth inning carried the Skidmore College baseball team to a 13-5 non-league win over Southern Vermont College, Wednesday.
 
Down 2-1, the Thoroughbreds (13-4) took advantage of four SVC (4-19) errors to score seven runs on three hits in the sixth inning.
 
Matty Tatkow was 4-5 with an RBI and Erick Watkins was 3-6 with four RBI and two runs for Skidmore.  Zack Rudman and Mo Kreitenberg had two hits each.
 
Skidmore used seven pitchers in the game, with Matt Barra earning his first collegiate win with an inning of relief.  Justin Willig started, allowing no runs on two hits over the first three innings.
 
The Thoroughbreds return to Liberty League action with doubleheaders at Clarkson on Friday and Saturday.
