Men's tennis downs TCNJ, 6-3

Ewing, N.J. - In a rematch of last season's NCAA second round match, the Skidmore College men's tennis team earned a 6-3 win over TCNJ.

The Thoroughbreds improve to 7-3 on the season, while the Lions fall to 4-2.

Skidmore fell at number one doubles, but the number two doubles team of Danny Knight and Miles Ransom and the number three doubles team of Max Bevan and Luke Granger pulled out close victories to put the Thoroughbreds up 2-1.
 
TCNJ earned wins at number one and number two singles, but Skidmore won the final four points in singles for the 6-3 win. Ransom earned a 6-7 (3-7), 7-5 (7-5), 6-0 win at number three singles, while Alec Hoblitzell was a 7-5, 6-2 winner at number four singles and Knight earned a 6-3, 7-5 win at number five singles.  Gabe Steerman rounded out singles action with a 6-0, 6-0 win at number six.

Skidmore hosts Williams on Saturday at 1 p.m.
