Fort Myers, Fla. - The Skidmore College baseball team exploded for 21 runs in game two of Thursday's doubleheader to complete the sweep of Monmouth.
The Thorughbreds won 5-1 in the opener before a 21-6 win in game two to improve to 5-1.
Leejay Pollacchi and
Geoff Green continued their hot starts as each drove in three in the doubleheader. In the nightcap,
Brian Lowry,
Casey Quinn and
Jeff Spindel each drove in four runs, highlighted by a three-run homerun from Quinn.
Isaac Forman earned the win in the opener and
Nick Petrella was a winner in game two.
