Ft. Myers, Fla.-- Baruch College came from 10 runs down to hand Skidmore its first loss of the season, 15-11 in non-league baseball action on Tuesday.
Skidmore (3-1) scored five runs in the second, one in the third, and four in the fourth to open a 10-0 lead. Baruch took battled back with three in the fifth and seven in the sixth to tie it.
The Thoroughbreds went back in front, 11-10 with a run in the bottom of the sixth, but the Bearcats kept at it with two in the eighth and two in the ninth for the 15-10 win.
The comeback wasn't event the biggest of the week for Baruch (5-6), who erased a 12-run deficit on Saturday in a 14-13 win over Muhlenberg.
Skidmore pounded out 15 hits, lead by a 4-6 game from
Geoff Green.
Erik Watkins went 3-5 with a triple and two runs, while
Leejay Pollacchi was 2-3 with two runs and three RBI.
Zack Rudman also had two hits.
The Thoroughbred pitching staff struggled with 16 walks and two hit batters.
