Cobleskill, N.Y.-- Rob Rubenstein went 4-5 with a triple and two RBI to lead the Skidmore College baseball team to a 14-0 win at SUNY Cobleskill, Wednesday.

Skidmore is off to a 9-2 start. Cobleskill falls to 2-5.

The Thoroughbreds scored 14 runs on 14 hits, with five runs in the fourth and eight runs in the seventh.

Also for Skidmore, Zach Brown was 2-6 with a triple and three RBI. Erik Watkins was 2-4 with an RBI. Mike Pannozzi was 1-1 with two runs and five walks.

The Thoroughbreds used five pitchers with Max Martins getting the win with two scoreless innings.

Skidmore will return to Liberty League play, Saturday at Vassar.
