Ft. Myers, Fla.-- The Skidmore College baseball team swept Minnesota-Morris 11-3, 7-4 to finish its Florida trip with a 7-1 record.
In the first game, the Thoroughbreds scored 11 runs on 12 hits.
Zach Brown led the onslaught, going 3-4 with a double and one RBI.
Matty Tatkow,
Leejay Pollacchi, and
Isaac Forman had two hits each.
Trevor Brucato earned the win, allowing three runs on nine hits with six strikeouts in five innings of work.
Brown continued his hot hitting in the second game, going 2-2 with two doubles and an RBI. Pollacchi,
Rob Rubenstein, and
Zack Rudman also had two hits each.
Jordan Keysor had the win, while
Chris Aulet picked-up his first save of the season.
Skidmore opens defense of its Liberty League title on March 26 at the University of Rochester.
