Fort Myers, Fla.-- The Skidmore College baseball team continued its hot start with a 7-1, 10-1 sweep of Millikin College, Thursday at Terry Park.

The Thoroughbreds are 5-1, while Millikin falls to 2-7. Skidmore will close out its Florida trip with a doubleheader March 18 against Minnesota-Morris.

In the first game, Zack Rudman picked-up the complete game win, allowing one unearned run on three hits, with one walk and five strikeouts. The Thoroughbreds scored five unearned runs in a six run fourth to break open a 1-1 game. Rudman helped himself at the plate, going 1-1 with two walks and a run. Logan Arena was 1-3 with an RBI single in the fourth.

Pitching was the story again in the second game. Nick Laracuente threw his second complete game win of the trip. He allowed one unearned run on one hit, two walks, while striking out seven.

Leejay Pollacchi went 3-4 with three RBI. Geoff Greene was 2-5 with two RBI, Isaac Forman was 2-3 with two RBI, and two runs, and Eric Watkins was 2-2 with two runs and a double.
