Saratoga Springs, N.Y. – The Skidmore College athletic department recognized 103 student-athletes as members of the Thorughbred Society in a ceremony held September 23, 2009 at the Sports and Recreation Center.
The Thoroughbred Society was created to honor student-athletes who achieve a 3.67 GPA or higher during each calendar semester. It also honors teams who compile a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
The group of students includes six two-sport athletes and 10 student-athletes with a 4.0 GPA.
