Ege Topbas was named the Liberty League Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week for the fifth time this season. Additionally, eight Skidmore College student-athletes were recognized on the Honor Roll for the week ending April 19.

Ege Topbas (Fr., Istanbul, Turkey) – Liberty League Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week
Topbas stretched his singles winning streak to 13 in a row with a pair of wins over the weekend for No. 25 Skidmore in wins over No. 24 NYU and St. Lawrence. He took down NYU's Shido Ito (1-6, 7-5, 6-1), before rolling to a 6-1, 6-0 win over SLU's Ryan Tingley.

Rudraksha Banerjee (So., Kolkata, India) – Liberty League Men's Golf Honor Roll
Banerjee finished in a tie for third with an even-par 140 effort at the FSC Spring Invitational at the Bethpage Red Course over the weekend. He opened with a 2-under 68 on Saturday before finishing with a 2-over 72 on Sunday in tough conditions for the high finish. Also, on Thursday, he shot an 84 at the notoriously difficult Bethpage Black Course.

Michael Aiello (#18, So., A, Rockville Centre, New York) – Liberty League Men's Lacrosse Honor Roll
Aiello had a goal and seven assists for eight points across a pair of games for the No. 15 Thoroughbreds against Union and St. Lawrence. He had five assists on Wednesday at Union before scoring a goal with two helpers and two ground balls in Skidmore's home finale on Saturday against St. Lawrence.

Julia Cafasso (#27, Sr., M, Manhasset, New York) – Liberty League Women's Lacrosse Honor Roll
Cafasso tallied six goals over the weekend for Skidmore on the road at Rochester and RIT. She had four goals with two ground balls, four draw controls, and a pair of caused turnovers on Friday at Rochester. Then, she scored two with three caused turnovers and three ground balls at RIT on Saturday.

Elle Harrison (#5, Sr., OF, Penn Yan, New York) – Liberty League Softball Honor Roll
Harrison went 7-for-14 at the plate with seven stolen bases, a triple, three RBI, and seven runs scored in a 4-2 week for Skidmore which included a doubleheader sweep over RIT. She also walked four times for an on-base percentage of .611 and an OPS at 1.254. She reached base safely in each of the six games including a pair of multi-hit games at Cobleskill.

Natalie Mayne (#19, OF/P, Fayetteville, New York) – Liberty League Softball Honor Roll
Mayne went 2-1 in the circle for Skidmore with a 2.86 earned-run average over 22.0 innings in a 4-2 week for Skidmore. She issued just two walks, and struck out nine, over her 22 innings of work. She got the win on Wednesday at Cobleskill, where she went all nine innings allowing just three earned runs, and then bookended her week with the win Saturday against RIT where she allowed only one earned run to help Skidmore get the sweep. Mayne also scored a team-high nine runs across the six games with five hits, four RBI, and two doubles.

Kyle Lundberg (Sr., Manhattan Beach, California) – Liberty League Men's Tennis Honor Roll
Lundberg went 2-0 in singles play over the weekend for No. 25 Skidmore in wins over No. 24 NYU and St. Lawrence. Against NYU's Bryan Hui, he dominated with a 6-1, 6-2 victory, and then won 6-4, 6-4 over SLU's Jake David to stretch his singles streak to four in a row.

Fletcher King/Nika Mori - Liberty League Men's Tennis Honor Roll
Skidmore's No. 2 doubles pair went 2-0 with a pair of 6-4 wins for the No. 25 Thoroughbreds against No. 24 NYU and St. Lawrence. They beat NYU's Ito/Fan on Saturday at home before a crucial win on the road at SLU over Boada/Naughton that gave Skidmore the doubles point.
