TROY, N.Y. – The Skidmore College men's tennis team, after winning the Liberty League championship on Sunday, won all three conference weekly awards. With Skidmore trailing 3-1, he earned a crucial 7-5, 7-5 win at second singles over Fernando Bauermeister to pull the Thoroughbreds to within one. Skidmore went on to win the last two matches to earn its 16th conference title. Lundberg also was 2-0 over the weekend in doubles with partner Ege Topbas.

Ege Topbas (Fr., Istanbul. Turkey) – Liberty League Rookie of the Week
Topbas continued his record-breaking singles streak with two more wins over the weekend in the conference tournament, including the clinching victory on Sunday over Vassar's Junchen Jia in three sets (6-1, 4-6, 6-4) in the championship. He was also 2-0 in doubles with partner Kyle Lundberg over the weekend.

Nika Mori/Fletcher King – Liberty League Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week
Mori and King aided Skidmore to the all-important doubles point on Sunday in the title match, as they took down the Vassar team of Cattaruzzi/Jia in a 7-3 tiebreak. The point proved vital, as Skidmore went on to win the championship match, 4-3. Their Saturday semifinal match against Ithaca was unfinished when the Thoroughbreds claimed doubles.
