St. Petersburg, Fla.— The Skidmore College baseball team wrapped its spring trip with a 15-12, 12-6 sweep of Colby-Sawyer College. The Thoroughbreds (5-5) have won five straight.
In the first game,
Brian Lowry continued his hot hitting, going 2-2 with a home run and triple.
Jake Mendell had two hits and a pair of RBI.
Derek Stork earned the win, allowing only three runs through five innings.
Anthony Ferri drove in three runs in the second game to lead Skidmore.
Tom Gruber added three hits, three runs, and two RBI.
Jeremy Goldman had a pair of hits to go 4-6 in the two games.
The Thoroughbreds are at Stevens Institute on March 21.
