Saratoga Springs, N.Y.-- Skidmore College men's soccer coach Ron McEachen has added former Binghamton University standout Matt Narode to his coaching staff.

Narode graduated in May from Binghamton, where he played four seasons for the Bearcats.  He was a three-time America East All-Academic selection and a member of the Binghamton team that won the 2006 America East championship and went on to play in the  NCAA Division I tournament.

The Bethlehem High School graduate played in the Premier Development League this past summer for the Cape Cod Crusaders and in 2006 and 2007 for the Albany Admirals.

In addition to his playing experience, Narode has worked as a coach at several of the top camps in the region and is a certified U.S. soccer referee.

Skidmore opens its season Aug. 29 at Swarthmore.
