Humienny named Rookie of the Year highlighting six Skidmore All-Liberty League nods

TROY, N.Y. – Skidmore first-year Jacob Humienny was named the Liberty League Men's Soccer Rookie of the Year, highlighting six all-conference selections for the Thoroughbreds. Colin Goodhines was voted to the First Team, while Tobias Catizone, Quinn McInerney, and Will Devall were each on the Second Team. Humienny joined Connor Mansfield on the Third Team.  
 
Jacob Humienny (#9, Fy., M, ) – Liberty League Rookie of the Year / All-Liberty League Third Team
Humienny was a force in his debut season for the Thoroughbreds, scoring three goals with two assists for eight points across 14 contests including one game-winning goal. He averaged 73.8 minutes per game while totaling 30 shots as a consistent ball distributor in the attacking third for Skidmore.
 
Colin Goodhines (#11, Jr., F/M, Longmeadow, Massachusetts) – All-Liberty League First Team
Goodhines wrapped his junior season with five goals and a pair of assists for 12 points. The team leader and second-ranked striker in the conference in shots on goal (28) also had two game-winning tallies on the year.  
 
Tobias Catizone (#21, Sr., M/F, Caldwell, New Jersey) – All-Liberty League Second Team
Skidmore's leading scorer finished his senior year with six goals and an assist, ranking in a tie for fifth in the Liberty League in goals. Three of his goals were game winners. Always a threat offensively, Catizone ranks third in the conference with 2.88 shots per game.
 
Quinn McInerney (#2, Fy., D, Washington, DC) – All-Liberty League Second Team
McInerney played and started in 16 games in his first collegiate season for the Thoroughbreds. He averaged over 77 minutes per game with eight full 90-minute efforts. McInerney and the Skidmore defense had eight shutouts and 13 games surrendering one goal or fewer. He also had an assist and 14 shots.
 
Will Devall (#1, Sr., GK, Shoreham, New York) – All-Liberty League Second Team
The 2024 Liberty League Defensive Player of the Year had another spectacular season for the Thoroughbreds, Devall was 7-3-3 in the regular season with a .797 save percentage and a 0.92 goals-against average. He had four shutouts including three out of the last five regular-season games.
 
Connor Mansfield (#22, Sr., F, Portland, Oregon) – All-Liberty League Third Team
Mansfield made all three of his goals count as each were game winners against Liberty League opponents St. Lawrence, Ithaca, and Clarkson. In 16 games, 11 starts, Mansfield averaged just over 45 minutes per contest, and finished with 15 shots.
