SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY – The second-seeded Skidmore College men's soccer team looks to keep a historic season rolling by hosting third-seeded Vassar in the program's first ever Liberty League Semifinals game at Wachenheim Field on Friday afternoon.

ABOUT SKIDMORE
The second-seeded Thoroughbreds finished a historic regular season with a 10-3-3 overall record alongside a stellar 6-2-1 mark in conference play, clinching the first top-two seeded finish in program history.
Skidmore's offense is led by senior
Tobias Catizone, who has scored a team-high six goals alongside an assist, and junior
Colin Goodhines, who has tallied five goals with two assists. Defensively, reigning Liberty League Defensive Player of the Year
Will Devall has again played a big role in the Thoroughbreds posting eight shutouts on the season. Skidmore is currently ranked No. 57 in the NCAA NPI Rankings.
ABOUT VASSAR
The third-seeded Brewers took down sixth-seeded St. Lawrence in a high-scoring 4-1 win in the first round of the Liberty League Tournament on Tuesday to advance onto Friday's semifinals. Vassar currently holds a 10-5-3 overall record and finished the regular season with a 5-2-2 conference record.
Vassar's offense is led by sophomore Arden Tobolski, who has scored 11 goals to go with a conference-leading 16 assists, and senior Jared Fiske, who has scored a conference-high 13 goals with seven assists. Defensively, the Brewers have totaled three shutouts on the season. Vassar is currently ranked No. 48 in the NCAA NPI Rankings.
HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE
The Brewers holds the All-Time series lead with a 16-11-11 record. The two programs last met in the postseason during the 2022 semifinals, in which the Thoroughbreds came out on top on the road in penalty kicks, 3-2, to advance onto the championship game.
