No. 15 Skidmore dropped by Garnet Chargers, 12-10

SCHENECTADY, NY – The No. 15 Skidmore College men's lacrosse team dropped a back-and-forth road matchup at Union, 12-10, on Wednesday afternoon.

In a game that saw neither team lead by more than three goals, the Thoroughbreds (10-3, 3-2 Liberty League) erased multiple deficits and kept the game within reach throughout, including pulling to within one goal four times in the final period, but the Garnet Chargers (5-10, 3-2 Liberty League) responded with timely goals throughout the fourth quarter to seal the win.

In goal, sophomore Marc Gadbois totaled a career-high 15 saves to anchor a Skidmore defense that conceded just seven goals through the first three quarters.

On offense, fellow sophomore Michael Aiello finished with five assists, the first of which gave him 100 career points as a Thoroughbred, becoming one of the fastest in program history to reach the mark.
