No. 35 Skidmore finishes homestand with loss to No. 29 Brandeis

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Skidmore College men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 match against nationally 29th-ranked Brandeis University on Saturday at the McCaffery-Wagman Tennis and Wellness Center.
  • Skidmore, ranked 35th, is 2-3 on the young dual match season.
  • Brandeis is 4-3.
  • The Thoroughbreds got one win in doubles and a pair in doubles.
  • Fletcher King and Nika Mori won, 6-4, over Malik/Dong at No. 3 doubles.
  • Then, in a competitive singles round, Ege Topbas and Radin Sadeghi came out with wins.
  • Topbas topped Brandeis's Aidan Wang-Fan, 7-5, 6-3.
  • Sadeghi outlasted Huasen Dong 6-3, 5-7, 6-3.
  • Kyle Lundberg, King, and Mahen Bitkuri all went the distance in their singles bouts.
  • Yuval Goodman was beaten in a tiebreak in both sets in his match in the top spot.
