ORLANDO, Fla. – The Skidmore College men's tennis team won two matches by 5-2 scores on Tuesday in Florida. The Thoroughbreds, ranked 35
th nationally, beat North Central in the afternoon before coming back to win over East Texas Baptist in the evening.

Match 1 – Skidmore 5, North Central 2
- The second doubles team of Yuval Goodman and Kyle Lundberg both won twice to beat the Cardinals. They earned a 6-3 win over Wottgen/Lessa to kick off doubles.
- Then, Nika Mori and Fletcher King led the Thoroughbreds to the doubles point with a 6-4 win over Crossland/Vilaroig.
- Skidmore then wen 4-of-6 doubles bouts to claim the match, including a pair of three-set wins.
- Goodman got his second victory 6-4, 6-4, in the No. 1 spot over Philipp Wottgen.
- Ege Topbas recovered from a slow start for a 0-6, 6-0, 6-4 win over Rafael Lessa a third singles.
- Lundberh also bounced back after losing the first set. He claimed a second-set tiebreaker to extend the match, and won the third 6-3 for his second win of the day.
- Radin Sadeghi clinched it in a winner-take-all third-set tiebreaker over Ruiz-Hernandez.

Match 2 – Skidmore 5, East Texas Baptist 2
- Skidmore lost all three matches in doubles, but came back with wins in five out of the six singles matchups to earn the comeback win.
- Goodman cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 win over Sam Black at first singles.
- Soon after, Mori won 6-3, 6-1, while King and Mahen Bitkuri both also won in straight sets that clinched it for the Thoroughbreds.
- Topbas also won in two sets with an 8-6 tiebreaker win in the second set over Erick Van Zyl.
