SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Skidmore College softball team swept visiting SUNY Cobleskill in a non-league doubleheader at home on Tuesday afternoon. The Thoroughbreds won game one, 8-3, and claimed game two, 9-1, in six innings.

Skidmore 8, Cobleskill 3
- Skidmore scored in four of its six offensive innings to defeat the Fighting Tigers 8-3 in game one.
- Sam Waters went 2-for-3 with a double, walk, and two stolen bases, scoring four of the Thoroughbreds' eight runs.
- Elle Harrison was a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs scored, one RBI, one walk, and two stolen bases.
- Jessica Nachamie delivered a 2-for-2 performance, driving in three runs on two doubles and adding a sacrifice fly.
- Madison Bonham chipped in with three RBIs, going 1-for-2 with two sacrifice flies.
- Mallory Allen earned the complete-game win in the circle, allowing three earned runs on 11 hits while walking three and striking out one. She improved to 6-7 on the season.
- Cobleskill scored all three of its runs in the top of the sixth on four hits, including a double from Avery Prievo. It was Cobleskill's only extra-base hit.
- The Fighting Tigers left 10 runners on base and committed two errors.
- Skidmore turned a double play in the field and stole four bases as a team.

- Skidmore completed the non-league doubleheader sweep with a 9-1 win over Cobleskill in six innings.
- Nate' Burley hit a game-ending single in the bottom of the sixth with two outs.
- The Thoroughbreds improved to 10-20 overall, while the Fighting Tigers dropped to 11-10-1.
- Sophomore pitcher Natalie Mayne tossed a complete game, allowing just five hits and one unearned run while striking out five over six innings.
- Skidmore pounded out 16 hits, led by multi-hit efforts from Waters (2-for-3, 2 R, RBI, SB), Nachamie (2-for-3, R, RBI, BB), Delaney Swain (2-for-3, R), Madi Gambino (2-for-3, R, RBI, 2B), Cortney Somsky (2-for-4, SB), and Burley (2-for-4, 2 R, 2 RBI).
- Gibbons, Sophia Finch, and Gambino each hit doubles for the Thoroughbreds.
- Isabel Moreno contributed with a pinch-hit single and scored a run.
- Skidmore scored in five of six innings, including a four-run sixth that ended the game via run rule.
- The Thoroughbreds stole three bases and committed three errors, but Cobleskill was limited to five hits and left six on base.
- Madelynn Orosz took the loss for Cobleskill, allowing nine earned runs on 16 hits in 5.2 innings.
- Kylie Rattigan led the Cobleskill offense with a 2-for-3 day.
