BEFORE SKIDMORE: Competed in softball, cross country and track and field at John F. Kennedy High School...Two-time All County selection, Named to two-time Newsday top 100 players list...Iron Woman award recipient
WHY SKIDMORE? "I loved how Skidmore allowed me to focus on academics, allowing me to be a double major, while also allowing me to be a competitive softball player. Skidmore gave me a place where I can still maintain my GPA, work multiple on campus jobs, be a member and subcommittee head of Skidmore's SAAC, and really be able to get involved around campus, without having to sacrifice my love for softball and commitment to my team. Other than the beautiful campus and meeting with the team and seeing the culture, this was the biggest reason why I confidently chose Skidmore and why I am still very happy with my decision 4 years later."
FAVORITE ATHLETICS MOMENT:Â "One of my favorite moments during my career was last season when playing Sage. In the second game, we were down by a few runs and have just come off a hard inning in the field. It was the bottom of the 7th inning. Instead of just giving up and letting them have the win, we rallied and had one of the best comebacks I've seen from this team. We passed the bat from one hitter to the next and I saw this team come together in a way I have only seen a few times from us. We rallied and ended up winning that game on a walk off triple. Even though it wasn't a conference game and we were all tired from both of the games, we didn't give up and all had each others back, and that was some of the most fun I've had playing with this team."
PREGAME ROUTINE/RITUAL:Â "Always braiding my hair in the same way for every game throughout my entire college career, and braiding many of my teammates before every game."
FUN FACT PEOPLE MAY NOT KNOW:Â "I can solve a Rubik's cube."
FAVORITE PART OF CAMPUS AND IN DOWNTOWN SARATOGA SPRINGS:Â "Studying with friends in CIS."
