SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Skidmore College men's hockey team scored three times in the last 3:28 of the second period and added three more in the third in a 6-2 Pack the Rink win over Wentworth Institute of Technology on Friday night to open the season.

- Ryan Stratton, another first-year, connected for his first collegiate goal exactly a minute later to give Skidmore its first lead. Fellow rookie Colton Mauser had the assist, the first of two on the night, after intercepting the puck in the neutral zone and finding Stratton open behind the defenseman.
- Ryan Waltman completed the flurry with a goal on a shot from the blue line through traffic with 18 seconds left in the period. Cooper Rice and Shane collected the assists on the goal to make it 3-1.
- Worob's second power-play tally at the 9:55 mark of the third period gave Skidmore a 4-1 lead. He corralled the rebound on a Bartfield shot and stuffed it in. Jacob Zwirecki had the secondary assist.
