SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Skidmore College women's volleyball team swept Plattsburgh State (25-15, 25-9, 25-20) in the morning for its first win of the year and later fell to SUNY Cortland (25-13, 25-23, 25-20) in the final match of the tournament.

- Sophomore Madison Manning was Skidmore's representative on the All-Tournament Team. She finished the weekend with 20 kills (2.22/set), 14 digs, two assists, and two aces.

Skidmore 3, Plattsburgh 0
- The Thoroughbreds dominated the service line, posting a 16-4 advantage in service aces. Jazlin Chen had a team high six aces. Catriona Hoelperl had four, and Tiffany Flores had three.
- Manning led with seven kills and six digs. Chen, Rudi Reyes, and Natalie Pedersen each had five kills. Reyes hit .231 for the match. Pederson had a solo block.
- Hoelperl (13) and Flores (10) combined for 23 assists. Athena Braverman tallied seven digs.
- Liya Girma was the leader for the Cardinals with six kills, three aces, and six digs.
- Skidmore (1-6) ran out to a big lead in the first set with seven unanswered points.
- The Thoroughbreds went on a 10-1 run in the second set to expand an early 4-3 lead.
- The third set was the closest.
- Plattsburgh (0-6) led in the third, 17-16, when Skidmore scored 7-of-8 aided by a Plattsburgh out-of-rotation call, which would have cut Skidmore's lead to one at 20-19.

Cortland 3, Skidmore 0
- Manning led the Thoroughbreds for the second game in a row with eight kills, five digs, and two assists.
- Reyes put down six kills and tallied a pair of digs.
- Chen and Pedersen both finished with five kills. Chen had three blocks, one solo.
- Hoelperl racked up a career high 22 assists and finished with three aces and six digs.
- Emalee Ballou was the leader for the Red Dragons with 15 kills and a .355 swing percentage. She also had six blocks.
- Emma Reilly had seven blocks, two solo, and eight kills for Cortland (5-1).
- Cortland scored eight unanswered points in the first set to break open what was a close start.
- Skidmore led 23-22 in the second before the Red Dragons scored the last three points of the set to grab a commanding 2-0 lead.
- The third set was also close. It was 18-all when Cortland got four in a row to put it out of reach.
