SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y / ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – The Skidmore College men's tennis team went 2-for-2 with Sunday wins over RIT (9-0) and Bard (8-1). The Thoroughbreds won 17 out of 18 matches on Sunday after dropping a 7-2 decision at home on Saturday against nationally 31^st-ranked Hobart.

• Skidmore, improves to 3-8 on the year in dual matches an is 2-3 in the Liberty League.
• Skidmore went 2-2 over the weekend.
• After breezing through RIT in the early afternoon, Skidmore hopped down to Bard where is took an 8-1 decision against the host Raptors.

 
#31 Hobart 7, Skidmore 2

• Skidmore trailed 3-0 after doubles but grinded out a pair of wins in singles matches.
• Yuval Goodman beat Fischer 6-4, 6-2 at No. 2 singles.
• In the fourth match Nika Mori outlasted Oyer 5-7, 7-6(7-2), 7-6(7-4) in a dramatic three-set thriller that feature a pair of tiebreaks to complete the comeback.
• Goodman's match was the only sweep. Louis Bourn (No. 1), Fletcher King (No. 3), Josh Finkle (No. 5), and Giriffin Biernat (No. 6) each went the distance.

 
Skidmore 9, RIT 0

• Friday night's singles winners Goodman/Mori teamed up for an 8-4 win over Movva/Webber in the first doubles match.
• Bourn and Biernat were 8-3 winners at No. 2, and Skidmore took a convincing 3-0 lead into singles with an 8-5 triumph from Kyle Lundberg and Harrison Gradin at No. 3.
• Bourn, Goodman, Mori, Lundberg, and Biernat got straight-set singles victories in matches 1-5.
• Adel Aissaoui needed to come back from a first-set loss against Escobar in the sixth match, but ultimately prevailed to preserve Skidmore's flawless match against the Tigers.
• Skidmore has defeated RIT in each of the 11 head-to-head matches between the schools since RIT joined the Liberty League (2012-13).

 
Skidmore 8, Bard 1

• Skidmore won all 24 games in doubles for a trio of 8-0 victories.
• Skidmore did not have a player at No. 4 singles, resulting in a default.
• Skidmore dropped just five games across the other five singles matches, including 6-0, 6-0 wins for Bourn and Biernat.
• Skidmore is 11-0 against Bard all-time.

 
NEXT UP: Skidmore will step away from the Liberty League for the final time of the regular season next week with matches on the road at MIT (April 12) and Tufts (April 13).
