TROY, N.Y. – The Skidmore College men's tennis team fell to nationally 24^th-ranked Rensselaer, 7-2.

• RPI has won eight in a row and is 10-1 overall and 2-0 in the Liberty League.
• Skidmore is 1-7 and 0-2.
• The Thoroughbreds got wins at No. 3 doubles and No. 5 singles against the Engineers.
• Louis Bourn and Josh Finkle put Skidmore on the board with an 8-7 win in the third doubles match.
• Nika Mori won 7-6, 6-1 for Skidmore's singles victory at the fifth match over McCandless.
• At the No. 2 spot, Bourn made RPI's Zhu work for a 6-4, 7-6 win.

NEXT UP: Skidmore pays three more times this weekend. On Saturday, the Thoroughbreds will play host to Hobart at 2 p.m.
