- Stamps stopped 13 shots, including four in the fourth quarter.
- The Thoroughbreds led 9-8 heading into the final frame and made it 10-8 on a marker by JJ Jablonski with 12:53 to play in regulation.
- Goals by Clarkson's Andrew Keaney – one man-down and one man-up – tied the game but Matthew Pickney put the visitors back ahead.
- Following back-to-back goals by Connor Holly of the Golden Knights, Koffler scored unassisted with just 54 seconds left in the fourth quarter to tie the game. Senior defenseman Charlie Murphy caused a CU turnover with 1:10 to go and Owen Quinn picked up the ground ball to set up the tying tally.
- The game was close throughout with the Thoroughbreds holding a 4-3 lead after the first quarter and an 8-6 advantage at the half. Clarkson outscored Skidmore 2-1 in the third and 4-3 in the fourth.
