SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Skidmore College men's tennis teak took down nationally 32
nd-ranked Brandeis on Saturday afternoon, 6-3.
- The win is Skidmore's first dual match win of the season. The Thoroughbreds are 1-3.
- Brandeis drops to 1-7.
- Skidmore split the two contested doubles matches after Nika Mori and Griffin Biernat claimed an 8-6 tiebreak win over Dong/Huai in the second match,
- Skidmore also claimed victory at second, fourth, and fifth singles.
- Louis Bourn breezed to a 6-1, 6-3 win over Dong at #2.
- Fletcher King overcame a first-set loss, extended the match with a tiebreak win before rolling to a 6-0 third-set triumph.
- Adel Aissaoui also dropped the first set in his match at #5 before getting to a super tiebreak and coming out with an 11-9 decision.
- Additionally, Skidmore got forfeit wins at third doubles and sixth singles.
NEXT UP: Skidmore will head to St. Louis next weekends for matches against Trinity (TX), host Washington University, and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
