PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Skidmore College volleyball team completed its 2024 regular-season schedule on Friday with a sweep (25-16, 25-18, 25-6) on the road at Plattsburgh on Friday.

• The Thoroughbreds wrap the regular year at 12-15 to match their 2023 win total.
• Angie Mozrall and Jazlin Chen led the way with seven kills apiece. With just one error apiece, they posted swing percentages of .500 and .375, respectively.
• Skidmore hit .378 overall with 33 kills against just five errors on 74 swings. Skidmore hit a whopping .500 in set three with 12 kills and no errors.
• Chen added four aces and a block to her ledger.
• Rudi Reyes finished with six kills and a pair of digs.
• Madison Manning had just six attempts but had kills on four of them to go along with two aces and five digs.
• Catriona Hoelperl had 18 assists, three aces, and five digs. Tiffany Flores tallied nine assists and three aces.
• Skidmore scored 14 of its points on aces.
• Liya Girma led the way for Plattsburgh with seven kills and 11 digs.
• The first set was tied at 14 when Skidmore went on an 11-2 run to win and closed it out by scoring the last five unanswered,
• It was similar in the second. Skidmore was ahead 16-15 when it surged to set point on an 8-1 run.
• The Thoroughbreds opened set three by scoring 11 out of the first 12 points on the way to the squad's most lopsided set of the year.
• Skidmore won all six sets over Plattsburgh this season with an average set margin of 11 points.
• The Thoroughbreds have won the past 11 meetings with the Cardinals going back to 2016.
