SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Skidmore College volleyball team was a tough out for Middlebury on Tuesday evening despite losing in three sets with scores of 25-13, 25-20, 25-20.

- Middlebury is 6-3 after its fourth win in a row. Skidmore is 7-7.
- For the Thoroughbreds, Jo Blanco, Rudi Reyes, and Jazlin Chen each finished with five kills.
- Blanco added three block assists and three digs.
- Chen had one of the two Skidmore service aces. Phoebe Yang had the other.
- Ella Harris led all players with five block assists with four kills and a pair of digs.
- Reyes posted a .500 hitting percentage on the night with zero errors on 10 attempts.
- Noa Berger (11) and Catriona Hoelperl (9) combined for 20 assists.
- Athena Braverman tallied 13 digs.
- For Middlebury, Katie Kraczkowsky led the way with 15 kills and nine digs.
- Molly Harrison racked up 11 kills, six digs, and four block assists.
- After an even start to the first set, it was all Panthers as they took command with a 7-1 run.
- Skidmore responded to open the second set but Middlebury eventually caught up and inched away and won despite a late 6-2 Skidmore urn to get to within three points.
- The third set was the most tightly contested game, with six total tie scores. It was all square at 19 after the Thoroughbreds rattled off five points in a row. Middlebury got the next four points and soon after closed it out.

NEXT UP: Skidmore will host Clarkson, Rochester, and Middlebury this weekend. Skidmore will play a league match against Clarkson on Friday at 5 p.m. and then against Rochester on Saturday at 11 a.m.
