SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The 29^th ranked Skidmore College men's tennis team edged Hobart College in a 5-4 Liberty League marathon Saturday at the Wilton YMCA. The Thoroughbreds are 4-0 in league play and 7-5 overall. The Statesmen are 8-4 and 1-1.
 

• Skidmore took a narrow 2-1 lead after doubles with wins at two and three. Sergiu Celebidachi and Griffin Biernat beat Harry Lyu and Troy Steiner 8-5 and Kyle Lundberg and Joseph Wilkanowski beat Aidan Staunton 8-7 (6).
• The Thoroughbreds then won the top three singles matches to secure the win. Brendan Jimenez beat Sean Pesin 6-4, 6-2 at number one. Celebidachi downed Lyu 6-4, 6-4 and Biernat clinched it with a 3-6, 6-2, 6-1 win over Winter Fagerberg.
• Skidmore has won 21 straight matches against Hobart.
• There are only two unbeaten teams left in the Liberty League. The Thoroughbreds are tied for first with Vassar.
• NEXT UP: Skidmore is at defending champion Rensselaer on April 8 at 1 p.m.
