- Greg Farrow (18) and Tyler Burns (13) led Bard.
- Skoric came into the game needing 10 points to reach 1000 and he took care of that early, scoring 10 of the team's first 14 points. He's the 20th Skidmore player to reach the milestone. He joins Kupstas who reached the mark earlier this season. Skoic has 1022 points and is 18th on the all-time scoring list, while Kupstas is 12th with 1162 points.

- Skoric put back his own miss at 2:22 and then Greene cut it to one 80-79 with a free throw at 1:25. After a Bard miss, Kupstas hit a free throw to tie it 80-80 with :34 seconds on the clock.
- With the shot clock running out Bard missed a three attempt with :05 left that Skoric rebounded and quickly tossed to Greene who crossed half court and let one fly from 34 feet that was all net as the buzzer sounded.
- COACH JOE BURKE: "Proud of the way the guys competed in the second half. I thought we were a step slow in the first half but most of the credit goes to Bard for how well they played. Basketball is about matchups and they are not a good one for us but our guys kept fighting and gave Riley the chance to win it at the end. Â
- "Right now this is about gaining momentum and keeping our foot on the gas. We need to replicate our second half effort tomorrow against a very good Vassar team tomorrow.Â
- "Congrats to Greg on 1000 points. As I said when he became the college's all-time rebounder. This kid has worked so hard to make himself a player and deserves all the praise he is getting. I am proud to have coached him and thrilled for him and his family."
- NEXT UP: Skidmore can clinch a playoff berth against Vassar College at 4 p.m. The Thoroughbreds are in a four-way tie for third place and only one game separates second through sixth with three games to play.
