PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Skidmore College volleyball team completed its regular season on Friday with a three-set win (25-22, 25-19, 25-19) on the road at Plattsburgh State.
 

• Madison Manning led Skidmore with nine kills, eight digs, and four aces.
• Carolyn Scott and Maya Stolarz registered six kills apiece.
• Athena Braverman had two kills to go along with a team high 16 digs and three aces.
• Skidmore finished with 10 aces overall. Catriona Hoelperl had two, and Noa Berger posted the other. The tandem also had 18 and seven assists, respectively.
• Berger added six digs. Hoelperl had four.
• Jazlin Chen Had three blocks, one solo, with four kills and a dig.
• The first set played the tightest. It was tied at 22 when Manning out down a kill to propel a stretch of three straight Thoroughbred points to close it out.
• Skidmore led by as much as nine in the second set on the way to a 2-0 match lead.
• Plattsburgh led in the third frame, 14-10, before a ferocious 12-11 Skidmore run made it 22-15. The Thoroughbreds closed it out on two Plattsburgh serving errors and one attack error.
• Skidmore is 12-13 overall heading into the Liberty League Tournament next week. The Thoroughbreds have won three matches in a row for the second time this season.
• Plattsburgh is 12-11 ahead of its final regular season match on Saturday.

NEXT UP: Skidmore will travel to Vassar for the first round of the Liberty League Tournament on Tuesday, Nov. 7 at 6 p.m. in Poughkeepsie.
