ITHACA, N.Y. – For the first time since the Bombers joined the Liberty League, the Skidmore College volleyball team won a set against nationally 23
rd-ranked and defending Liberty League champion Ithaca College. Skidmore grabbed the third game to prolong the match to four sets (25-12, 25-8, 22-25, 25-14) on Saturday afternoon.

- The victory for Ithaca is its ninth in a row. The Bombers had dropped just one set over its previous seven outings.
- The Thoroughbreds pounced on the Bombers in set four with a run of nine unanswered points. A later 6-1 Ithaca run brought the hosts to within two, 24-22, before Skidmore closed out the game on an Ithaca service error.
- For Skidmore, Jo Blanco led the way with eight kills, nine digs, and a solo block.
- Carolyn Scott, Rudi Reyes, and Jazlin Chen had five kills apiece.
- Scott added a pair of block assists to contribute to an effort of seven total team blocks. Ella Harris was a part of four of them which included a pair of solo blocks.
- Reyes and Chen were also each credited with solo blocks.
- Athena Braverman joined Blanco with a team leading nine digs. She also had three assists.
- Noa Berger had nine assists, a service ace, and a dig for the Thoroughbreds.
- Ithaca is 14-3 overall and atop the Liberty League at 3-0.
- Skidmore is 7-11 and 1-4.
