GENEVA, N.Y. – The Skidmore College volleyball team lost in three sets at William Smith College on Friday evening (25-15, 25-19, 25-20).
 

• Rudi Reyes led Skidmore with four kills.
• Four Skidmore players had three kills: Carolyn Scott, Jo Blanco, Maya Stolarz, Jazlin Chen.
• Chen added two aces and three blocks, including one solo block. Blanco also had two block assists.
• Stolarz, Chen, and Madison Manning had Skidmore's three solo blocks.
• The Thoroughbreds finished with six total blocks. The hosts had four.
• Catriona Hoelperl tallied 11 assists.
• William Smith took command in the opening set with an 8-1 run to lead in the middle of the game by five.
• It was close again in the second set when the Herons broke out again with an 8-2 mid-game run.
• The third game was the closest and Skidmore led 20-19 before WSC rattled off the match's final six points for the sweep.

NEXT UP: Skidmore will challenge nationally 23^rd-ranked Ithaca on Saturday at 1 p.m.
