Thoroughbreds earn gutsy 11-10 overtime win at Plattsburgh

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – Charlie McFadden scored four goals including the overtime game winner for the Skidmore College men's lacrosse team in an 11-10 win on the road at Plattsburgh on Wednesday afternoon.

After scoring the tying goal with under two minutes left in the fourth quarter, Plattsburgh won the faceoff to begin the four-minute sudden death overtime period, but an errant pass gave the Thoroughbreds possession near midfield. Before allowing the defense to get set, McFadden dodged his defender to the right before stepping back to the middle and firing a shot inside the left post to end it.
