BEVERLY, Mass.—Endicott College outscored Skidmore College 4-1 in the third quarter on the way to a 12-7 non-league men's lacrosse win Saturday afternoon.
The Thoroughbreds are 2-2 as are the Gulls.
Alex Miller led Skidmore with three goals and four ground balls. Kyle fink scored twice, while
Gregory Ross and
Reed Seybolt accounted for the rest of the Thoroughbred scoring with one goal each.
Jack Sutherland and Mike Sudora had three goals and an assist each for Endicott.
The Gulls worked their way to a 6-4 lead at the half. Fink cut it to 6-5 at 12:01 of the third for the Thoroughbreds. Endicott responded with four straight to close the quarter and two more to start the fourth for a 6-0 run that made it 12-5.
Skidmore had a 28-27 edge in shots and 42-38 advantage in ground balls.
Benjamin Kacher had 15 saves for the Thoroughbreds.
Up next for Skidmore is a March 10 game against Merchant Marine in Virginia Beach.
