WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass.—The Skidmore College women's lacrosse team lost to Williams College, 17-5 in a non-league road contest Sunday afternoon.
The Thoroughbreds are 0-2, while the Ephs even their record at 1-1.
Grace Connerty and
Emily Hirsch had two goals each for Skidmore.
Avery Geddes accounted for the fifth goal.
Williams scored the game's first three goals, before Skidmore battled back to within one, 3-2 on goals by Hirsch and Connerty. The teams traded the next two goals, but Williams rattled off the next 13 goals to put the game away.
The Thoroughbreds open Liberty League play Wednesday at Vassar in a 6 p.m. game.
